About the Founder

ThomasMcCurdy Compensation Advisors is the brainchild of Lorrain McCurdy, who is the company’s Founder and Principal Advisor.
Lorrain began her career in banking/financial services and she later transitioned to human resources, with a focus on the compensation discipline as she felt the compensation specialty aligned with her background and provided the opportunity for alignment with the organization’s goals and objectives.
A graduate of Nova Southeastern University, Lorrain earned her Bachelor’s degree in Management and later a Masters in Business Administration (MBA). She went on to pursue a Master of Science in Human Resources Management at Florida International University (FIU). While at FIU, she served as the President of the local chapter of the Society for Human Resources (SHRM).
Lorrain is a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) and Professional in Human Resources (PHR). She is a member of World@Work, the association for total rewards professionals and the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).
A results-oriented compensation professional with over 15 years of experience in broad-based compensation spanning multiple industries, both nationally and globally, Lorrain has worked with organizations varying in size from 800 – 65,000 employees. Lorrain has a passion for excellence and a commitment to the provision of superior customer service, which is the platform from which she serves the human core of any organization.
